                         THE BRANCHES OF OUR TREE

Our family is now  spread worldwide, and it seems sense to separate it into branches. The branches are named merely to differentiate between them, and some people will appear on more than one branch, since we hope that they will all interconnect as we learn more about the family.

This map shows Ecclesfield village at far right. Owlerton, where Thomas Creswick ( about1480 - 1537 ) built his Manor House is lower right. Onesacre where Adam Creswick was granted lands about 1290 is about the centre;  and Ewden Lodge farm is at the far top left. In fact the map covers most of the area in which the Creswicks' early years were spent, and where the roots of all the family are to be found.
